Teaching Assistant
Location: Birmingham (B9)
Salary: £85-£95 per day
Position: Full time, Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm
Start date: ASAP

Job description: LTF Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and caring individual to join our partner primary school located in the Birmingham B9 area. The primary school are searching for a Teaching Assistant to join their inclusive and dedicated team to support with the progress and development of all students, including SEN students. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs, supporting them to develop academically, socially and emotionally
- Supporting students on a 1-1 basis and in small groups, preparing and delivering targeted interventions
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SENDCO to discuss student’s progress/concerns
- Encourage active participation and engagement with learning and peers
- Support the classroom teacher to create appropriate and engaging resources dependent on student needs
Requirements:
- Relevant experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- A relevant qualification/degree is desirable
- A passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs to overcome challenges and barriers to learning & development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with students, staff and parents
