LTF Recruitment are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in the Chesterfield (S41) area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to support and enhance the learning and development of students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Adapting teaching & support strategies to cater to the individual needs of each student
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of learning materials and resources
- Monitoring and recording student progress, reporting any concerns to the teacher or SENDCo
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s support & education
The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role or an educational setting
- Knowledge of special educational needs and understanding of different learning styles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate & two references are a requirement for this role
