Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? LTF Recruitment are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the vibrant team at a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Tottenham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students in Years 3 and 6, working closely with the class teachers to deliver targeted interventions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of educational health and care plans (EHCPs) for pupils with SEN, ensuring they receive the appropriate resources and guidance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students to build confidence and achieve their full potential.
- Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to monitor and track student progress.
- Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student development and well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent) are desirable.
