LTF Recruitment are seeking a talented Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality education and support to pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs, including those with physical or learning disabilities, autism, and behavioural difficulties.
- Providing one-to-one support or working with small groups, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and resources as required.
- Monitoring and recording pupils’ progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents as required.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
