SEN Teaching Assistant | Greenwich SE18 | Payscale: £85-£105 | Long-term to Permanent Start Date: January 2025

Long Term Futures is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join a Primary school in Greenwich (SE18) as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. The perfect candidate will be joining a positive learning environment and providing 1:1 and general classroom support to students in year 2.
As a SEN TA, your role will include:
- Assist in a wide range of classroom activities. (Reading, writing, phonics, games etcetera.)
- Supervise the classroom always ensuring the safety of young students.
- Collaborate with class teachers and other members of staff to ensure ongoing learning and social development amongst all children in the classroom.
- Design and set up engaging and creative learning and play areas.
- Ensure participation amongst all students ensuring positive behaviour strategies.
Criteria:
- Level 3 TA Qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a primary school environment or with children with special educational needs is desirable.
- Patient and empathetic personality and ability to build strong relationships with students.
