SEND Teaching Assistant

Daily Rate- £85- £100
Start Date- ASAP (November 2023)
Days- Monday to Friday, Term Time
Hours- 8:30am to 3:30pm
End date- July 2024 (with the view to go permanent)
LTF Recruitment are looking for an experienced and motivated SEN teaching assistant to work in our 2-form entry, mainstream primary school in Sheldon. This role will involve working 1:1 within a reception class supporting children with SEN and supporting generally in the classroom and in the sensory room.
The Role:
- Supporting KS1/KS2 pupils with special educational needs
- Providing praise and encouraging students in the classroom
- Delivering interventions and booster sessions
- Building strong bongs with students, parents, and staff
The Ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience working in a school environment
- Has experience supporting 1:1 and or small groups
- Has experience and/or knowledge of supporting Children with SEN e.g., ASD, ADHD
- Has TA qualifications or relevant degree
- Can work as part of a team
- Has a sound understanding of the KS1 / KS2 curriculum
