SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B27 | £90 – £105 per day | ASAP Start
LTF Recruitment is working with our vibrant partner primary school in Acock’s Green to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will have the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the growth and success of Key Stage 1 students requiring additional classroom support. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Providing support to SEN students in both one-to-one and small group settings as required.
- Collaborating closely with the team to implement inclusive strategies tailored to the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of students.
- Encouraging active participation and engagement in the learning process.
- Leading small group intervention sessions, including phonics support.
- Ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a nurturing and safe environment.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree such as Supporting Teaching and Learning In Schools.
- Experience working in a Primary School.
- Experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is advantageous for this role.
