Are you an experienced SEN teaching assistant looking for a new role?
LTF Recruitment are now recruiting for Several SEN Teaching Assistants for one of our partner schools within Brixton. As as a school with a high level of additional need, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional support to their students that need it the most.
In this role your main duty will be to work closely with the both the SENCo and the Classroom teacher to encourage interaction within lessons. You will keep accurate records of named students physical and educational progress within the setting who you will support on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Ideal Requirements:
- Experience working with moderate – severe SEN in a primary school setting
- Comfortable challenging behaviour and interruption.
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Teaching assistant or Childcare qualification or relevant degree
- A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
- A positive caring and can-do approach
