About the Role:
LTF Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated Sports Coach to join an outstanding SEN school in Harrow. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for physical education who thrives on helping students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) develop their skills, confidence, and love for sports. You will play a key role in delivering tailored physical activities that support both the physical and emotional development of students with a wide range of needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inclusive sports and physical education sessions that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN
- Encourage participation in activities, promoting teamwork, confidence, and physical well-being
- Adapt activities to ensure they are accessible and enjoyable for all students, regardless of ability
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate physical activity into students’ wider learning plans
- Support students during sports events, competitions, and off-site activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents on achievements and areas for development

Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Sports Coach or working with young people in a physical education setting
- A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN, promoting inclusion and engagement
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and empathetic approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Desirable Qualifications:
- Coaching qualifications or experience in adapted sports for SEN students
- Knowledge of physical development strategies for students with additional needs
Additional Information:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Paid £95 – £110 per day, term time only
- Based in Harrow, London – accessible via public transport
- Immediate start with potential for long-term placement
