Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Chesterfield, S41
Daily Rate: £100 – £110 per day
Days: 5 days, Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

Job Role: Work with subject teachers and the SENDCo to support teaching and learning, by working with individuals or small groups of pupils with additional learning needs.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff
- Frequently work with individual pupils with special educational needs
- Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the classroom teachers
- Support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils in each group you are supporting
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in supporting students with special educational needs
- Has a strong knowledge and practical understanding of Special Needs (SEN)
- Previous experience in education settings (6 months minimum)
