Job Title: Year 2 Teacher – Maternity Cover (January Start)
Position Type: Temporary (1 Term), with potential extension to the summer term or transition to a job share

Pay: £140-£210 per day

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our school community for a maternity cover position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting the academic and social development of our Year 2 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective, differentiated lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the individual needs of each student
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a cohesive and supportive teaching team
- Participate in school events and activities to promote a sense of community and engagement
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 2
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
Start Date and Duration: The position will commence in January 2023, for one term initially. There is potential for the role to extend into the summer term or transition into a job share arrangement.
