LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Nuneaton area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting the whole class while offering tailored assistance to SEN pupils. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in nurturing an inclusive learning environment, supporting both teachers and students to ensure every child thrives academically and socially. This position is long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and group support to students, including those with SEN, to help them engage with lessons and reach their full potential.
- Assisting in the implementation of strategies that cater to diverse learning needs, including those outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social growth for all students.
- Monitoring student progress, managing behaviour effectively, and providing regular feedback to staff and parents.
- Supporting the teacher by leading small group activities and ensuring the classroom remains a positive and organised learning space.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree
- Experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (preferable)
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow guidance
