Are you a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Our vibrant and inclusive partner school in Brent NW6, are currently seeking a skilled HLTA to provide PPA cover and support children with special educational needs within the school’s newly built SEN Provision.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PPA cover across the school, ensuring continuity and progression in learning for all pupils.
- Provide targeted support and intervention to children with special educational needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers to aid their ongoing development.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a HLTA within a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and its application for primary-aged children.
- Experience in supporting children with special educational needs, including knowledge of different learning styles and strategies.
