About the Role:
LTF Recruitment are currently seeking three compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in our Partner School’s Reception class. Due to an increase in funding following the September intake, they are excited to expand their Early Years Foundation Stage team.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with the class teacher and the SENDCo to implement tailored strategies that support the individual needs of children with ASD. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily classroom activities, supporting social and communication skills, and helping to create an engaging, sensory-friendly learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with ASD.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress to the class teacher and SENDCo.
About You:
- Experience working with children with ASD is essential.
- A relevant qualification in childcare or education is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are a must.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to work as part of a team.
