LTF recruitment and actively seeking for a cover supervisor for our partnered SEMH provision based in South Leicester. We are looking for an experienced individual to join a positive working environment where providing care and appropriate teaching material for young children is the goal.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing the class and ensuring all students are on track and engaged with the work set.
- Delivering content to groups of 25 – 30 students.
- Feeding back to teachers, monitoring academic progress and group behaviour.
- Willing to work with students in who need additional academic support.
- Liaising with department leaders to devise effective student outcomes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Is a competent with teaching & content delivery with at least one years’ experience.
- Has experience of working with children with special educational needs.
- Understands supporting pupils academic progress, across a wide range of subjects.
- Has excellent communication skills and can build relationships quickly.
- Is capable of controlling groups of students, using the schools behaviour policy to manage challenging behaviours.
- Will be reliable and consistent, showing commitment to raising the standards across the school.
