Computer Science Teacher
Location: Birmingham, B23
Daily Rate: £145 – £210 (paid to teacher scale)
Days: 4 Days, Monday to Thursday (not Friday)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: 8th January 2024
Contract: Fixed Term until July 2024

LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Birmingham (B32) who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Computer Science to start in January 2024, on a part-time (4 days) basis until July 2024.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
- Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs
- Delivering KS4 & KS5 BTEC qualifications
- Assessing children’s work against the school’s assessment framework
- Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
- Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme
Candidate Requirements:
- Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome)
- Is confident teaching both KS3, KS4 and KS5 ICT/Computer Science qualifications
- Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
- Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
