LTF Recruitment have partnered with a number of secondary schools, located across Nottingham, to appoint Behaviour Mentors to join their settings on a full time basis.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to provide emotional, social and behavioural support. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in promoting positive behaviours, improving student engagement and contributing to the schools positive learning environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1 and group mentoring sessions to students to address behavioural and emotional challenges
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to create and maintain a positive learning environment
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting on outcomes
- Conduct workshops and activities that promote social skills, resilience and positive behaviour
- Assist in the development and implementation of school wide behaviour policies and initiatives
Person Specification:
- Experience of working with young people in an educational setting, or in a similar capacity
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and emotional support strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff and parents
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
