Behaviour Mentor | Birmingham, B8 | £90 – £105 per day | September 2024
LTF Recruitment is looking for a committed and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our welcoming partner primary school in the Saltley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about encouraging positive behaviour among children with SEN in the classroom. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and progress of students who need additional assistance. This long-term position offers the potential to become permanent for the right individual.
The Role:
- Offering dedicated 1:1 support to a student with challenging behaviour.
- Helping to foster a positive, nurturing learning environment.
- Delivering personalised support to SEN students in both one-to-one and small group settings as needed.
- Collaborating closely with the team to implement inclusive strategies that address the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of each student.
- Promoting active participation and engagement in the learning process.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
- Experience working in a Primary School.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviours and an understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A dedication to assisting children in overcoming obstacles and achieving their full potential.
